🛡️ Car Universal Battery Disconnect Leak Protector
Your Vehicle Is Parked.
The Battery Doesn’t Have To Stay Connected.
A manual 12–24V battery disconnect switch that lets you isolate a compatible vehicle battery with one clearly marked ON/OFF handle — useful for storage, maintenance and vehicles that sit unused for extended periods.
Come Back.
Turn The Key.
And Hope The Battery Still Has Enough Charge.
Alarms, accessories, modules and other connected electronics can continue drawing small amounts of current while some vehicles sit. A manual disconnect gives you a physical way to isolate the battery when appropriate.
ON When You Need Power.
OFF When You Want Isolation.
The manual switch provides a visible, mechanical way to open or close the connected battery circuit instead of repeatedly removing a battery clamp by hand.
-
↻
Turn the large red handle by hand.
No need to repeatedly loosen the original battery terminal whenever isolation is required. -
ON
Clearly marked operating positions.
The blue indicator plate makes ON and OFF easier to identify at a glance. -
⚡
Physically interrupts the connected circuit.
When properly installed and switched OFF, downstream electrical loads on that circuit are disconnected from the battery.
Storage.
Seasonal Vehicles.
Electrical Maintenance.
The switch makes the most sense when a compatible battery system needs to be intentionally isolated rather than left connected continuously.

Grab The Handle.
Rotate To ON Or OFF.
The wide red rotary handle gives you a large gripping surface for deliberate manual switching after the disconnect has been correctly installed.
-
✋
Large hand-operated control.
Easier to identify and operate than repeatedly working directly on the cable clamp. -
↔
Simple two-state operation.
Rotate between clearly marked ON and OFF positions. -
👀
Quick visual status check.
Red handle plus blue status markings make the switch easy to spot near the battery.
Brass Conductive Components.
Insulated Outer Housing.
The main electrical connection components use brass, while the switching assembly is enclosed inside an insulating ABS housing.
12–24V.
100A Rated Current.
1000A Listed Instantaneous Current.
The product page lists the switch for 12–24V battery systems with a 100A rated current and up to 1000A instantaneous current.
Power Down.
Confirm Compatibility.
Install Securely.
Switch The Vehicle Off
Turn off the ignition and all electrical accessories before working around the battery.
Disconnect The Battery Safely
Follow the vehicle manufacturer's battery-disconnection procedure before installing or removing the switch.
Install On The Correct Circuit
Secure the disconnect according to the supplied instructions and your vehicle's electrical layout. If unsure, use a qualified automotive electrician.
Check Every Connection
Make sure terminals and fasteners are secure and cannot contact nearby conductive components.
Test ON / OFF Before Normal Use
Verify the switch performs correctly with the vehicle stationary before relying on it for storage or maintenance.
Compact Hardware.
But Clearance Still Matters.
The switch body measures approximately 6.5 × 7.7 × 5.2 cm, so check the available space around the terminal, battery cover and nearby bodywork before installation.
It Is A Power-Isolation Tool.
Not A Battery Repair Device.
Never Treat The Disconnect
Like An Engine-Running Kill Switch.
A battery disconnect is intended for appropriate stationary storage and maintenance situations. Vehicle electrical systems differ, and careless disconnection can damage electronics or erase stored settings.
-
!
Do not switch OFF while the engine is running.
Disconnecting a main battery circuit with the charging system active can create damaging voltage conditions. -
ECU
Some vehicles require retained battery power.
Memory settings, clock, radio codes, alarms, windows, ECU adaptations and other systems may reset when battery power is removed. -
⚡
Never short the battery terminals.
Batteries can deliver extremely high fault current capable of causing burns, fire or equipment damage.
One Handle Between
Connected And Isolated.
-
↻
Disconnect the compatible battery circuit without removing the terminal every time.
Use the large rotary handle after proper installation. -
12
Designed for compatible 12V and 24V systems.
Covers a broad range of automotive, agricultural and equipment applications when current ratings also match. -
100
100A listed rated current.
Check actual vehicle and circuit requirements before installation. -
Cu
Brass conductive hardware at the power connection.
Metal terminal components form the main current path. -
OFF
Useful during appropriate long-term storage.
Battery isolation can prevent connected downstream loads from continuing to consume power while switched off.

Electrical ratings above are taken from the current product listing. The switch is not a fuse, battery charger, voltage regulator or automatic low-voltage protector. Correct installation and properly tightened battery connections are essential because loose high-current connections can overheat.
Battery Disconnect FAQ.
What does a battery disconnect switch actually do?
It mechanically opens or closes the battery circuit where it is installed. When OFF, appropriately connected downstream electrical loads are isolated from the battery.
Can it help when a vehicle is stored for a long time?
Yes, battery isolation can help prevent connected parasitic loads from continuing to consume power while the switch is OFF. The battery can still self-discharge over time, however, and an unhealthy battery can still go flat.
Does it automatically disconnect when the battery gets low?
No. This is a manual ON/OFF disconnect switch. It does not monitor battery voltage and does not automatically shut down at a low-voltage threshold.
Can I switch it OFF while the engine is running?
No. Do not use it to disconnect the main battery while the engine or charging system is operating. Doing so can create electrical conditions that may damage the alternator or vehicle electronics.
Will disconnecting the battery erase vehicle settings?
It can. Depending on the vehicle, removing battery power may reset the clock, radio memory, window settings, ECU adaptations, security systems or other stored information. Check the vehicle manual first.
What electrical systems is it listed for?
The current product listing specifies 12V–24V systems, a 100A rated current and a listed 1000A instantaneous current.
Is it suitable for every 12V vehicle?
No. A matching voltage does not guarantee compatibility. Battery-terminal dimensions, starting current, continuous current, installation space and vehicle electronics must also be considered.
What is it made from?
The current listing describes brass conductive components with a flame-retardant ABS outer housing.
Can it fix an existing parasitic electrical drain?
It can isolate the battery when switched OFF, but it does not diagnose or repair the electrical component causing an abnormal drain.
Should I install it myself?
Only if you understand automotive battery safety, high-current connections and your vehicle's electrical requirements. Otherwise, installation by a qualified automotive technician or electrician is the safer option.
Park It.
Turn The Handle.
Isolate The Battery When Appropriate.
Add a visible manual disconnect point to a compatible 12V–24V battery system for storage, maintenance and easier power isolation.
